Asalamualaikum - brothers n sisters & frens of ANSARA,
Upon learning the plight of our fellow Malaysians affected by the
current flood (in Kelantan & Pahang as well as Johor) ANSARA is
now embarking on used clothing collection. We would appreciate if
interested parties could adhere to the following guidelines :
THE DO'S :
1) Donate ONLY clean, wearable clothing.
2) Place all clothing in boxes and seal them.
3) Mark the boxes with types of clothing i.e Dewasa, kanak-kanak, pakaian wanita, pakaian bayi etc
4) Write down your name n hp no and indicate your ANSARA chapter
(We do not have the luxury of time & space to sort your donations.
Thus, please assist us - with a sprinkle of kindness and a pinch of love in your heart towards human race)
ATTENTION : THE DONT'S
1) Please do not take advantage by embarking your own spring
cleaning - and use this as a dumping ground - this is not nice. (FYI,
in the past, volunteers of NGOs has to sift thru' tonnes n heaps of
garbage donated by 'concerned Malaysians'..how sad...)
2) Please do not donate USED UNDERWEAR. We would welcome brandnew ones though.
3) Please do not donate clothing that are due for the Alam Flora trucks ( u know I mean..)
LOGISTICS
We will update you on the 'drop-off' points VERY SOON - in a day or two.

AMAN MALAYSIA
Our President, Dato' Mukhriz Mahathir has requested assistance
from fellow ANSARA for the affected flood areas...He's calling out for
DOCTORS out there.Please let us know if our many doctors would spare
their limited and precious time to do this bit...
